All Nations Church December 2009 Prayer Calendar

“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” Colossians 4:1-3

  Dec 1:  Pray that our children will understand the depth of the gift that God gave in giving Jesus.
“For God loved the world so much that He gave His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16

Dec 2:  Pray for wisdom for Scott and Sandra Bauer as they prepare to move to Washington, D.C. for a two-year assignment.  “In Him lie hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”  Colossians 2:3  

Dec 3:  Pray for wisdom for Nick & Tena Fouts, Johnny & Jessi Kerr, and Laura Hargan as they lead our Teen Ministries; for Laurie Arant and Molly Monaghan as they lead the Tween Ministry; and for Sandra Bauer, Johanna Chumley and Jessica Robinett as they lead the children’s ministry.  “I will bless the Lord Who counsels me; He gives me wisdom in the night.  He tells me what to do.”  Psalm 16:7

Dec 4:  Pray that our ANC leadership team will hear God’s voice clearly in all the decisions they make. 
“He knows just what to do, for God has made him see and understand.”  Isaiah 28:26

Dec 5:  Pray for safety for friends of ANC in India and for peace to prevail.  
And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.”  2 Corinthians 1:10-12

Dec 6:  Pray that God creates in us pure and clean hearts, as evidenced by our actions
. “Create in them a pure heart, O God, and let that purity of heart be shown in their actions.”  Psalm 51:10

Dec 7:  Pray that God will give us complete knowledge of His will, as well as spiritual wisdom and understanding, and that we will produce good fruit as we learn to know God better.

“We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding.  Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit.” Colossians 1:9-10

Dec 8:  Pray that the name of Jesus will be honored and glorified because of the way we live. “…the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live ….”  2 Thessalonians 1:10-12

Dec 9:  Pray for those who are lonely and hurting during the Christmas season.
“My soul weeps because of grief; strengthen me according to Your Word.”  Psalm 119:28


Dec 10:  Pray that missionaries and persecuted Christians will be rescued from wicked and evil people. “Pray, too, that we will be rescued from wicked and evil people, for not everyone is a believer.”
2 Thessalonians 3:1-3

Dec 11:  Pray that God’s Shalom will fill the hearts and minds of all peoples in the region of Israel, bringing an end to terror and the shedding of innocent blood. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem … I will seek what is best for you, O Jerusalem.”  Psalm 122:6,9

Dec 12:  Pray for all who persecute Christians.
But I say, love your enemies!  Pray for those who persecute you!”  Matthew 5:44

Dec 13:  Pray that we will keep out of strife.
“For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.”  James 3:16


Dec 14:  Pray for faithful teachers in the children’s ministry.
“If you are faithful in little things, you will faithful in large ones.”  Luke 16:10

Dec 15:  Pray that we would be extravagant in our prayer life.
“… He went up into a mountain to pray, and spent the whole night in prayer to God.”  Luke 6:11-13

Dec 16:  Pray for wisdom and revelation for the women’s ministry as they make plans for the new year.
“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it
will be given to him.”  James 1:5
 

Dec 17:  Pray that we know Jesus better.
“As we know Jesus better, His divine power gives us everything we need for living a godly life.  He has called us to receive His own glory and goodness!  And by that same mighty power, He has given us all of His rich and wonderful promises. He has promised that you will escape the decadence all around you caused by evil desires and that you will share in His divine nature.”  2 Peter 1:3-4

Dec 18:  Pray earnestly for all Christians who are in prison for their faith.
“But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.”  Acts 12:4-6

Dec 19: Pray that we maintain a joyful, prayerful, and thankful spirit no matter what happens.
“Always be joyful.  Keep on praying.  No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”  1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Dec 20:  Pray that we and our children hunger for the Word of God, that it increases and cannot be quenched. Pray that they might be strong in their faith and equipped to do God’s good work.
  “…they delight in doing everything the Lord wants; day and night they think about His law.”  Psalm 1:2

Dec 21:  Pray that the church seek God with all their hearts.
“’For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord.  ‘They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.  In those days when you pray, I will listen.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.’”  Jeremiah 29:13

Dec 22:  Pray for repentance of sexual sins and murder of the unborn. “They have committed both adultery and murder—adultery by worshiping idols and murder by burning as sacrifices
the children they bore to Me.” Ezekiel 23:36-38


Dec 23:  Pray for wisdom for parents as they daily teach and model the Word of God at home
. “So commit yourselves completely to these Words of mine … Teach them to your children …
Deuteronomy 11:16-21


Dec 24:  Pray that we reflect the love of Christ in our marriages.
 
“God is love, and anyone who lives in love is living with God and God is living in him.”  1 John 4:16


Dec 25:  Pray that we receive the revelation that we were healed by the stripes He received while being whipped. “But He was wounded and crushed for our sins.  He was beaten that we might have peace.  He was whipped, and we  were healed!”  Isaiah 53:5

Dec 26:  Pray that we will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. 

I pray that from His glorious, unlimited resources He will empower you with inner strength through His Spirit… May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”  Ephesians 3:16-19  

Dec 27:  Pray that God will reveal to us our offensive ways and lead us down the path of everlasting life. 
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.  Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”  Psalm 139:23-24

Dec 28:  Pray that we would know who we are in Christ, our true identity and “union life” with Him. “Behold, I have given you authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall injure you.”  Luke 10:19

Dec 29:  Pray that the women will give all of themselves to the Lord.
“Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.”  Matthew 22:37

Dec 30:  Pray that our President will appoint Supreme Court justices that promote life and glorify Jesus. “Appoint judges and officials … They will judge the people fairly … Let true justice prevail, so you may live and occupy the land …” Deut. 16:18-20

Dec 31:
  Pray for our President, Senators, Congressmen, Governors, military, police, and others in authority. “…pray for all people.  Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them.  Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity.”  1 Timothy 2:1-3
